My Dad

We all, yes even Michael, went over to see Charlie & Co and from there to my Dads to see him.
Charlie had returned to me a video lent to her Mum years ago and never returned.
The video is a recording of Christmas Eve 1990. Jac and myself had Charlie overnight on Dec 23rd and turned the 24th into Xmas day. Prezzies for all three of us, Turkey, stupid hats and everything bar the drinking. We had a great day. Come early evening Charlie had to be returned to her Mum.
Jac and I returned to Melton and went into town. We had one drink before running off home with our heads spinning. Everybody out there was excited about the forth-coming event, for us it was a time for quieter reflection, really wierd feeling. The 25th December was a little strange too as the world caught up with us mentally.

My Dad despite his recent Hospital visit following a fall, was in very good spirit. He was really pleased to see all of us together.

Then a Maccy-D's from the Meridian estate and home five minutes into top gear.

Family Day

Had a nice afternoon out with the family. Grantham, Ten-pin bowling and a Maccy-D's to follow. Nice to have all of us doing something together every now and then.
If my Dad hadn't had a fall yesterday I might be 'well happy'. Though a muted happiness glows within. :)

Look closer and you will see that some clown has taken the "HOL" from Holwell. I like the fact that the water flowing out of the pipe across the front could be from the well that works. :)
