These were purchased in Fort William 5 1/2 years ago. Goretex lined, they have kept my feet dry even though I abuse them. Rocks, mud, streams and puddles, these boots have remained impervious to outside fluids. Being made of cloth they let the cold through almost immediately making it feel like any water above the sole came straight through, but still they worked as they should. The upper that can be seen here has been detached like this for over a year, forcing these down the list of favoured footwear when out walking anywhere but with the dog around our local area. Sadly today they have failed. :( I got home and my right foot was slightly wet in one place. Please note though, the boot that is falling apart is the left one!
